This place is one of the most clicked locations in Colorado - Maroon Bells. "Bells" because of their shape and "Maroon" because of their color when the light is right. We rushed from our place in Snowmass at 5:30 in the morning to secure a good position to photograph these mountains. But by the end of our 30 mins drive, the parking was already full and the lakeshore was lined by hundreds of photographers waiting patiently since before dawn for the sun to come up. I got plain lucky, thanks to a sweet lady who agreed to make way for another of the camera breed. Before I could even setup my gear, this place took my breath away. It is absolutely spectacular, especially at this time of the season with autumn-yellow trees lining the mountain feet and snow capping the peaks. The quiet, the beauty and the magnificence of this place is overwhelming. You simply cannot take your eyes off of the whole panorama. Amidst all this opulence of nature, so many photographers in the way and well dogs too, I managed to get my shot. And in the end when daylight broke and painted the maroon peaks, our viewers couldn't move, couldn't stop staring. I am not exaggerating. And this picture in no photographer's magic. This is all nature, in it's best raw form.
