There is so much beauty in Alaska. One of our favorite spots is in Portage Valley. There are various pull outs along Portage Glacier Rd where you can photograph the bright blue water of Portage Creek within the Chugach National Forest. You can see Explorer Glacier from this spot. The Trail of Blue Ice runs through this area and people enjoy kayaking and floating down the creek.
