Animal tracks seemed to go in every direction like dotted lines that mark the borders of states on a map. I and my friends stood apart from one another on a bridge overlooking the snow and town of Mammoth Springs in the distance. Our reflections standing on the bridge show here, as we looked out over the myriad of animal tracks in the pure snow below us. Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park in the middle of December.
