There are few places on Earth, where you might feel like being on a different planet. Mono Lake is an amazing place to wander around and explore the natural beauty of this place. This lake is famous of the "Tufa Towers" they can reach heights of over 30 feet. Typically, underwater springs rich in calcium (the stuff in your bones) mix with lakewater rich in carbonates (the stuff in baking soda). As the calcium comes in contact with carbonates they form these limestone rocks with time.
