There are few places on Earth, where you might feel like being on a different planet. Mono Lake is an amazing place to wander around and explore the natural beauty. This lake is famous of the "Tufa Towers" they can reach heights of over 30 feet. Typically, underwater springs rich in calcium mixes with lakewater rich in carbonates and as the calcium comes in contact with carbonates they form these remarkable limestone rocks.
