We visited the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve hoping to spot some desert wildlife - lizards, gilas, tortoises. Animals were still hibernating, but we saw gorgeous blooming cacti and came across this unworldly vibrant blooming plant. Such surprises await those willing to take the time to look!
