A black bear sow & her 3 spring cubs race down a hill & into the lake. In the park for 2 weeks, I was made aware she had 3 cubs but yet to venture away from the den. After 2 weeks without a siting I knew it could be any day. I couldn't leave. Extending my trip into a 3rd week, my only focus was them. I waited in the same location from before sunrise until dark. On the 3rd day of that, hour 35, I was rewarded. Seeing her with 3 tiny cubs swimming together is a moment that will last a lifetime.
