Vandalism in our national parks is a problem and even more so in urban parks such as Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The remote location of Battery Mendell, a remnant of coastal fortifications dating from WWII, makes an opportunistic canvas for taggers. The ice plant attempts a coverup!
