I was driving along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park when I noticed this momma bear and her cubs next to the road. I parked across the road and the cubs quickly scurried off. However, the momma bear stayed put as pictured and I was able to get some relatively close pictures using a telephoto lens without getting out of my car. I love the look in her eyes, I wonder what she was thinking.
