Mount Baden Powell Monument Atop Mount Baden Powell, elevation 9,407 feet. It's a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail and my favorite hike so far. My expedition for the 3rd year to summit this mountain. It's a strenuous 8.3 mile hike of 40 switchbacks but the view at the top is breathtaking- the very reason why I keep coming back. It reminds me of why we should promote, preserve, and take care of these lands for future generations to enjoy.
