I could see fur rising through the tall grass in the distance so i held back, waiting to see if it was a single bear or maybe a small family. I saw little movement from my position so I pointed my camera in that direction and watched through the viewfinder, trying to get a better idea of what laid ahead. Slowly a small pair of cubs stumbled into view. Then a 3rd, then a 4th! This was the first moment I knew it was the sow and 4 cubs I saw in July! This was what I had traveled back here for!
