Mono Lake Sunrise. Smoke from a fire near Yosemite enhances the color of the sunrise and dims the sun. You will see a picture of Smokey Bear on U.S. Hwy 395 on the way to Mono Lake to remind you of the fire danger. This photo was taken in August 2018. I think this lake and the Tufa have unique beauty and are great for photography. The near areas, especially Yosemite make this a wonderful place to visit.
