Yaquina Head Lighthouse Built in the 1800's, the lighthouse was originally named Cape Fowlweather Lighthouse. On the Oregon Coast the light house and the ocean make for great photographs. There are many Federal Recreation Sites along the Oregon Coast. I visited here with friends for one of life's best times.

Please excuse the spelling error. Cape Fowlweather should be spelled Cape Foulweather! I think both Cape Foulweather and Yaquina Head are commonly used to name the lighthouse. A very beautiful area.
