Carrizo Plain National Monument is a beautiful place to experience vibrant spring blooms of flowers. The spring of 2017 was especially vibrant, as the valley and nearby mountains exploded with millions of flowers. This photo shows what part of the Temblor Range looked like during the height of the bloom, with yellow flowers stretching as far as the eye can see.
