The Colt Dome through a window in the Colt Gateway building, at the Artist Open Studio event on 11/3/2018. The lines, colors and shadows in the indoor artwork interact with those of the Colt buildings outside.

I love the contrast of the inside art with the outside art; the modern painting with the historic blue and gold. The play of the sunlight through the window mullions connects the two views with a geometric pattern repeated in the windows of the old Colt building. A lovely and pensive shot.
