My boyfriend and I just moved to Colorado this summer and this was our very first hike. We huffed and puffed our way up the trail, as we'd come from sea level and the trailhead was over 7,000 feet... but we made it. We even managed to beat the crowds, and I was able to snap this photo without a single other person in it.
