This the Puckett Cabin located on the Blue Ridge Parkway. "Aunt" Orelena Hawks Puckett was a midwife who delivered more than 1000 babies the last one being in the year she died, 1939 at 102 years old. Ironically all 24 of her babies died in infancy.
