I met some friends in Eugene, Oregon and we drove to Cape Perpetua to see Thor's Well, the Devil's Churn and the Spouting Horn. We arrived in the evening near high tide and the waves were huge. Thor's Well was putting on a show and there were many people there. I decided to return the next morning at sunrise and I was the only one there. I was lucky it was near high tide again and I got the photos I wanted. Thor's Well erupts like a geyser near high tide then drains back to the ocean. August2018
