Water cascades through the misty Avalanche Gorge. Although just a few miles east of here, the eastern side of the park had received several feet of snow and sub-freezing temperatures, the west side of the park (home to Avalanche Gorge) saw just a few flurries and warmer temperatures - a tangible demonstration of the Continental Divide.
