Ocracoke Lighthouse This 75 feet tall, 1823 built lighthouse, is the second oldest operating lighthouse in the US and the oldest in NC. Ocracoke Island is part of the popular and beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore in NC, and is accessible from Hatteras Island by a 40mins ferry.
