Great Falls Park

It was the rainiest year on record in DC. The rocks that make up Great Falls were hidden what seemed like every other week due to the massive amount of water flowing over them. During a lower water level day, I went out to the observation point and saw a heron out on the rocks. I returned a few days later, and the rock where the heron had been standing was now completely under water
