Over 8 miles round trip + elevation gain of ±2500 feet + 50-something lbs backpack—I was also looking for another kind of Colorado colors/sceneries/adventures than ‘just’ its famous fall colors. And I found lovely places! I set up camp, then hiked a bit further up to scout and look for sunset spot(s), then I found this composition when I looked back on the trail.
