After a moonlit hike up to see the sunrise above the tree line, I descended down to the base of the lower lake to get a different perspective while the sun is still barely breaking into the valley. I love the abstract organic nature of the curvy lines formed by the glaciation process of the past. Not to mention the stillness of the turquoise alpine lake providing that crisp reflection. A peaceful morning indeed.
